Group Ukulele Class
We only have. a homeschool session at this time. Thursdays at 1:45-2:30pm
Ages 7-12. Rock out to your favorite folk and pop songs in this ukulele class!
We will focus on utilizing the instrument in an ensemble setting.
We will play lots of activities that reinforce note reading, chord playing, while incorporating movement and singing (because that’s how we learn best!)
Elem. Beginning Strings Class
Fridays 5:15pm
This class is open to grades 1-6, for fresh beginners!
Students will learn through a Suzuki-based curriculum to develop a strong sense of pitch/intonation as well proper technique.
We will include plenty of Orff-based games in the mix to work on music fluency, including note reading.
*You must rent a properly-sized instrument from one of our recommended vendors for your child
Intermediate Strings Class
Fridays 5:45pm
For students who know the basics but are looking to learn and play with others.
We will treat this class a mini “orchestra” with lots of collaborative pieces.
Theory, conducting, technique, ear training, sightreading activities will be included as part of the curriculum.
