Fun and collaborative music classes in your neighborhood!

Each class features hands-on activities and games to develop music fluency, proper technique and tone, and keyboard geography.

The curriculum accommodates for a variety of learning styles, allowing for everyone to play together at the same time while working on skills at their pace.

Piano Classes

  • Play-based lessons that explore music opposites (high/low, soft/loud, slow/fast, solo/together, etc) while reinforcing letters, numbers, colors, and the world around us.

  • Learn keyboard geography, technique, and musical opposites (fast/slow, low/high, etc) through play-based lessons themed “Animal Alphabet,” “Under the Sea,” and more!

  • Retell stories such as “Jack and the Beanstalk” and “Goldilocks and the Three Bears” on the piano while working on pitch, technique, reading, and more.

  • Dive right into reading on the staff, with longer pieces that can be practiced at home. Layered ensemble parts engage everyone in class!

Vocal

  • If your child loves to sing, this class will help them develop healthy singing habits. We will sing a variety of genres, including two-part songs and rounds. A performance is scheduled at the end of every semester.

Strings

  • Learn guitar from scratch in a supportive, fun, and engaging class with others on the same journey!

    We will explore playing by year, as well as reading chord charts, tab, and sheet music. We will also work on improvisation, ear training, and music theory as we collaborate and play our favorite songs!

  • Start off right with proper tone production, technique, and fun songs! We will not read music in the beginning but slowly build up to it throughout the year.

    Tuesdays 5:15pm

  • This class is for students that are mostly comfortable reading on the staff. Students will will work on technique, sightreading, theory, and ensemble playing.
